Ptosis surgery
This is a 65 yo female who noticed that her eyelids were half shut because of her droopy eyelids. She had a history of wearing hard contact lenses which contributed to the ptosis (droopy eyelids). The patient did not require skin removal and underwent ptosis repair via a small incision in the upper eyelid crease under local anesthesia. After the surgery, she noticed improvement in her peripheral vision but also noted that others said that she also looks happier since her lids were lifted. Here she is only 1 month out and still a little swollen and expected to continue to improve
